Oral Health Learning Toy New

This learning board is fun to use combining a game of cleaning the dog’s teeth with some thought for our own oral hygiene. The baseboard shows a friendly dog with floppy ears and a mouth that opens to reveal 10 strong teeth. There is a toy tube of toothpaste, a toothbrush, and some flossing string. Children will want to role-play to clean the dog’s teeth by squeezing toothpaste onto the brush and scrubbing hard to clean them well. Then to make sure they haven’t missed any plaque they can floss between the gaps in the teeth. Children can do this alone or in pairs which will initiate conversations about how well they look after their own teeth. Great care and precision is required to clean teeth well and the process of cleaning the dog's teeth will improve their fine motor and observation skills so important to their wellbeing.
